The engagement at Changgyeonggung I did for Jiyeon and Vianney before their wedding in Korea deserves a separate blogpost, because apart from it being a set of very beautiful pictures of this couple, the place was absolutely amazing.
Originally built in 1104, the Changgyeonggung Palace has undergone several remodelings coming to include a zoo, a botanical garden and a museum on the site. Unfortunately, this Korean palace was, like the other “Five Grand Palaces”, badly damaged by the Japanese occupation.
Anyway this is an amazing palace with great spots for a pre wedding or a couple photo session and this couple photo shooting is a great example of this. We shoot it he a few days before their big wedding that was held in the grand and stylish Grand Hyatt Seoul Hotel in Seoul. Jiyeon and Vianney both live in Seoul, where they met and fell in love, but their wedding was the a very international wedding, and that is why we we wanted to shoot a deeply rooted in Korean culture session for their pre wedding reportage.
Dressed in casual clothes and with absolut complicity I photographed this lovely couple both inside the Changgyeonggung Palace and also in the surroundings of the palace, resulting in very nice photos of the couple. It was also great because in the middle of all the craziness of wedding preparation they finally have an afternoon to spend together as a couple without worrying about anything else, just enjoying each other’s company, and well, mine. So They spend a nice afternoon of quality time together and that’s something big to stop and relax.
So without more hesitation, I leave you with the photographs of this prewedding session in Korea so that you can enjoy them. You know that I love to travel and that I will go wherever it´s necessary so if you like my photography and you liked this post please, do not hesitate to contact me be it that you need a wedding photographer in Malaga, Marbella or as I say, anywhere else in the world. I’ll be happy to do it!
