This intimate wedding in Granada is one of the most beautiful and colorful weddings I have photographed so far. Everything was perfect: the views, the light, the environment, and of course the happy couple, they were radiant and thoroughly enjoyed their big day.
Jeanette and Sebastian are a Norwegian couple in love with Southern Spain. That’s why they chose to celebrate a rural wedding in Granada surrounded only by his family and closest friends.
They chose Casa Miranda to get married, a modern designed house in Jete, Granada, with a large outdoor space divided into two levels where you can enjoy the Mediterranean climate and also the fabulous views of the sea and the mountains of Granada.
For this intimate wedding the couple decided to celebrate both, the ceremony and the reception in the same house as the space of this stylish house is the perfect setting for both. The bride got ready in one of the rooms with the help of a friend. Jeanette was gorgeous with a romantic boho-chic style dress and a simple bouquet she made herself. The groom was casually dressed but very stylish with a white shirt, suspenders and a bow tie.
The wedding ceremony was held outdoors. About 50 people among friends, family and the 2 sons of the couple gathered to witness the yes I do of this beautiful couple and celebrate with them their special day. The ceremony, officiated by the groom’s sister was very emotional.
After the ceremony, the newlywed and me went to take the happy couple wedding photographs. First we shoot some in the house, as its Mediterranean style happened to be a fantastic background that resulted in amazing Ibizan style wedding pictures. The game of lights we got playing with the white background (of the house, and the clothes …) and the blue (of the sky, the doors of the house, the swimming pool access, the sea bottom…) gave these wedding pictures a beautiful Mediterranean touch.
We also took some very nice pictures of the newlywed in the countryside with the sunset light and in the roof of the house.
Meanwhile the guests enjoyed a cocktail outdoors enlivened by the music of Latino Turner. When the we got back, they all sat down to have dinner at the big table they had prepared for the occasion.
Since it was an intimate wedding, the couple decided that they all would sit on a long table so they could be all together. An big table outdoor decorated with garlands in which all the guest enjoyed a beautiful meal and and the emotional speeches of family and friends.
This was a very intimate and familiar wedding, so much that the wedding decoration was all homemade by the owners of this stylish rural house in Granada. And to make it even more personal and intimate, the catering was also provided by the owners, Lasse and Cecilia, another Norwegian couple who also fell in love with Andalusia a few years ago and decided to build this beautiful house with a pool perfect for a rural weekend in Andalusia.
I want now to thank these wonderful couples for all the love and care I got, it was a pleasure to work with both, the happy couple and the homeowners. Also I’m very happy and satisfied with the results of the photographs, they are amazing.
This is only the second wedding they have held at Casa Miranda yet, but hopefully I will be able to show you more wedding pictures shoot in this house, I’d love to, because the setting and light of this place is truly wonderful.
And thank you so much to this international couple for liking and trusting my work and for giving me the opportunity to photograph an outstanding wedding. As a wedding photographer in Malaga and Andalusia it’ s my pleasure to do this kind of international, original and different weddings.
