Loren and Luke are an English couple who decided to celebrate their wedding at Hotel Cortijo Bravo in Malaga. And no wonder why, the Hotel Cortijo Bravo is the perfect place for a destination wedding in southern Spain.
You can fin this beautiful country house looking like hotel in La Axarquía, a mountainous area located in the east area of Malaga that has amazing views as you can see in the pictures. A place remote enough to be perfect for a rural Andalusian wedding with all the charm and intimacy that a wedding requires.
Loren and Luke were conquered by the mix of Andalusian and colonial styles of this hotel that recreates an old Andalusian farmhouse from the 19th century. They thought it was the perfect setting for the Andalusian rural wedding they were looking for.
On the big day they woke up already in the hotel and couple got ready for the ceremony with the help of friends and family.
The bride chose a white lace dress with a V-neckline and an open back, and gold sandals. She also wore a beautiful and very colorful wedding bouquet. Her bridesmaids were also spectacular all in a pale pink matching dress.
The wedding ceremony was a beautiful civil ceremony at Hotel Cortijo Bravo and took place outdoors in the beautiful garden of subtropical trees of this inspiring country house. When the beaming bride arrived in her white dress and veil, the groom was waiting for her in front of the gazebo where the wedding ceremony would take place. The wedding ceremony was very emotional and beautiful.
After the wedding, an outdoor cocktail was held for the guests. The cocktail was enlivened by the live music of a Spanish guitar and it was the prelude for the beautiful dinner that would come later.
The wedding planning was done by Perfect Spanish Weddings, and once again they did a spectacular job. The decoration of the Hotel Cortijo Bravo was the work of Carol Green and the beautiful flowers that decorated this rural destination wedding in Malaga, were done by Flor Valentín.
The sitting plan was the most original and beautiful thing: a series of dreamcatchers made of glass in which you could see the name of the different tables and who was sitting where.
The wedding dinner was very entertaining. Just at the beginning the friends and family of the bride and groom made their speeches provoking very funny and emotional moments.
The delicious dinner finished just minutes before the sunset. So as soon as it was finished we, newlyweds and I, went to take the first photos of the bride and groom as husband and wife. The photos were amazing, as the sunset light and the views from the Hotel Cortijo Bravo were spectacular. It is no wonder a place that inspires peace and tranquility, and the Mediterranean sea in the background makes of this a perfect place for a rural destination wedding in Andalusia.
After the newly weds photos, we returned to the wedding celebration, the bride and groom cut the wedding cake, they did the first dance or bridal dance, and the party began. The party was enlivened by who killed the DJ, and you can see from the photos that it was most entertaining.
