This wedding in Malaga was a very special one for me. Irene and Gustavo are two very good friends of mine and from the very first moment they share their wedding plans with me, it´s been an honour for me to be the one telling the story of this very special day.
The wedding preparations took place Hotel Suite Novotel, a privileged location in Malaga city centre, where the bride got ready accompanied by her family. Her makeup and hair was done by Jessie Arte & Estilo. Once she was ready, she got dressed in the amazing wedding dress specially chosen for the occasion and designed by Jose Maria Peiro. A sleek white chiffon dress with lace on the top, combined with Ursula Mascaro double platform silver shoes.
The bridal bouquet in pink and white flowers was made by Flor Zen and it was lovely, the perfect finishing touch for this gorgeous bride. The groom chose a very smart suit made to measure for him by Absolute Bespoke. Gustavo gave this outfit a very personal and chic touch with a plaid vest and bow tie. Gustavo and all the male guest wore one, they were very elegant
The wedding ceremony took place at La Iglesia de la Concepción in Malaga. The bride arrived to the church accompanied by her father, it was a very exciting entry for all guests of this wedding. The wedding celebration was held at the Hotel La Viñuela, one of the best boutique luxury hotels at the Costa del Sol.
The groom arrived to the Church on a Volkswagen Kombi, a retro van that the they later used to drive to Hotel La Viñuela, where the celebration will be held and we took that opportunity to take some very original wedding. You can judge for yourself … The truth is that using a Volkswagen van for your vintage wedding is a great idea that adds a super hipster and original touch to this day.
Do you need more ideas for your vintage, rustic, original wedding? Then, read on! This rustic wedding in Malaga was full of those details: from the beautiful set illustrating the seating plan, located between wooden pallets and bales of straw, to the vintage table where you could leave your messages for the newlywed were and put it in a bottle, or the pendant menu signs. The truth is that it was a very original wedding where no detail was lacking. All floral decoration of this wedding was conducted by Ana Maria Floristas.
The wedding celebration was held outdoors, as the Mediterranean coast weather allows you to do so in almost any season. La Viñuela Hotel is a great and very charming venue to celebrate a rustic wedding in the Costa del Sol.
First there was beer buffet table decorated with vintage beer signs (I told you no original detail was lacking at this wedding), then at the cocktail, the wedding guests were treated to a buffet of scrambled eggs and sushi, delightful. Then it came, the typical Mediterranean food: fried fish, … All this with the spectacular wetland views that has this beautiful wedding venue at the Costa del Sol.
The meal ended with the opening of the special Gin Tonics bar … something that no one could resist. All this accompanied by the live music from the Free Soul Band followed by the Malaga music band, Los Electroduendes.
This wedding in Malaga was personally a delight to photograph and objectively a very original wedding in which no detail was missed. As a wedding photographer in Malaga and Marbella, it has been a pleasure to tell through the lense of my camera, the story of the happiest day of a couple, this time Irene and Gustavo. Congratulations to them!
