This norwegian couple decided to celebrate their wedding in Marbella, a very special place for the them, that did not disappoint any of the guests.

The bride got prepared with his family at his summer residence in Marbella. For her wedding day she chose an incredible wedding dress with a lace open back from Pronovias and shoes from Dolce & Gabbana.

Both the ceremony and the wedding celebration took place at El Cortijo de Correa, an intimate and rustic venue Andalusian style, ideal for a wedding in the Costa del Sol. A typical spanish place to held a magic wedding by the sea. The couple looked radiant and very happy to get married in Marbella.

This was an intimate and full of details wedding. It’s planning and styling was conducted by the wedding planner in Marbella Caprichia Wedding & Occasions who took care of all the designs of all the boards and signs that were specially handmade for the occasion: the menus, the cards with the name of each guest, the explanation of the ceremony, … an unique and very special detail that certainly gave a very personal touch to this wedding.

The civil wedding ceremony  was also full of details with a spectacular floral decoration that gave a lovely touch to this Mediterranean country house. After a cocktail was held to welcome the guests at the celebration in the Spanish villa while we took the chance to shoot the couple wedding photographs on the outskirts of this beautiful farm house that gave the pictures a great rustic, intimate and special touch.

Then, to follow the sitting plan, each guest’s took his handmade fan, a little gift with his name and the name of his table. All tables were named after Norwegian cities. The dinner was held in a typical Andalusian  patio courtyard of this private villa. The decoration of the long celebration tables was made with flowers that followed perfectly the color scheme of this international Mediterranean wedding.

The live music ran in charge of a Spanish guitar course. After the nice dinner and the lovely speeches from family and friends, the beautiful wedding cake made its entrance cake, matching of course the color scheme of this wedding.

As a wedding photographer in Marbella, I really enjoy these international weddings. Getting married in Marbella is a fantastic idea for its enviable location by the sea and in the heart of the Costa del Sol.
