Cassie & Gaz’s Wedding in Marbella was one of the coolest, most modern and fun weddings I have been.
This couple came from England to get married in the Costa del Sol in one of my favorite places: la finca de Llanos de Belvis, a villa in the mountains of Marbella. A beautiful venue with a large garden and amazing views to the mountains and greenery that make of it a perfect place for an intimate and exclusive wedding, like the Indian wedding in Marbella I shoot in this same venue a few months ago. A place 100% recommended if you are looking for an exclusive place to get married outdoors. Also, as the day was clear, the views of the Costa del Sol and Gibraltar were spectacular.
Bride and groom got ready for their big day at Hotel Fuerte Miramar in Marbella.
The bride was accompanied by her bridesmaid that helped her with everything and the groom, with his godfather and his closest friends. They both had a great time with the wedding preparations. And me too! They were one of the funniest and most carefree couples I have met and their wedding was an absolute blast.
The bride wore a white dress with an open back and her hair loose with a small ornament and the groom wore a stylish suit with matching bow tie.
The wedding ceremony was held at the Iglesia Nuestra Señora de la Encarnación in Marbella. The bride arrived to the church accompanied by his father in a lovely old jaguar. The ceremony was very nice, the couple exchanged rings and vows to end out under a shower of confetti when leaving the church.
This was no doubt the most hipster and modern wedding I’ve done so far. The guests came from England and they were really excited to attend a wedding in Marbella.
Once finished the ceremony, we all headed to Llanos de Belvis where the wedding celebration will take place. The first thing the guest did was to sit by the pool with their feet in the water to enjoy the pre-dinner cocktail. Meanwhile the bride, the groom and me went to shoot the couple pictures around the villa.
The wedding was organized by the Wedding Planner Perfect Spanish Weddings with who I have already had the pleasure to work with at Nicola and Paul wedding in Malaga, an Irish couple that decided to get married in Malaga. The catering was with Goyo Catering.
The wedding decoration was simple and neat. Truth is that this villa does not need much more, its huge garden decorated with bulbs and flowers decorating the tables were enough to make this a perfect place to get married outdoors in Andalusia.
During dinner we witnessed one of the best sunsets on the Costa del Sol and one of the most funny wedding speeches. After cutting the wedding cake and the newlywed’s opening dance came the main attraction of the evening: a rockabilly group performance that delighted all the guests at this cool and hipster wedding. But surely the one who enjoyed it the most was the groom, he is an absolute Elvis fan and he did not stop until he finally got up and join the group on stage.
I leave you also the wedding video that my fellows AnkerProd made for this wedding in Marbella so you can see what a real rockabilly wedding in Marbella look like.
This was a wedding that I really enjoyed, the couple was absolutely amazing and they treated me as their guest. I really enjoyed it so I want to say a big thanks to them, specially the groom that did not fail to surpriseall throughout the wedding. Cassie and Gaz many congratulations. All the best!
